A group of Durham University students aspiring to do the most good we can.
We aim to empower students who want to make a large positive impact on the world through our events, programmes and shared resources. We’re part of the Effective Altruism movement, which aims to find the best ways to have a positive impact, through the use of evidence and careful reasoning.
Effective altruism is a philosophy and social movement that advocates using reasoning and evidence to determine the most effective ways to benefit others. We're interested in helping to tackle some of the world's most challenging problems, such as climate change, global poverty, and existential risks.
